Tea Review Blueberry tea

Isn't a nice cup of tea one of the best things ever?

The other day, one of my fav YouTubers did some tea reviews on her channel. She made everything sound so delicious that I decided I'd like to start drinking more tea.

I do drink tea rather regularly, but only green or black tea. I haven't really tried much in terms of herbal tea. However, she made it sound so good I decided I wanted to try herbal tea, and branch out in other types of tea too. Explore, discover new flavors!

One of my medications requires me to drink a lot of fluid and well, water gets old after a while. This was the perfect excuse for a little change.

So, I went to the store and got a few teas to try out! Here is the beginning of the tea reviews!

Celestial Herbal Blueberry tea

The first tea I tried was from this cute little fruit tea sampler by Celestial! I think it's so nice that you can get an assortment to see what you like. This came with Raspberry Zinger, Country Peach Passion, Wild Berry Zinger, True Blueberry, and Black Cherry Berry.  The first one I tried was the True Blueberry.

It comes in this nice little pack separated from the other flavors so as not to mix them! I love that they are not individually packaged cuz, go earth! But sad at the same time as I would imagine it difficult to keep it clean like an individually packaged on if you wanted to put one in your bag.

Review

This tea was delicious!

I was expecting it to be really regular tasting but it was full of flavor! It definitely tasted of blueberries which was a nice surprise! I was also expecting it to taste very herbal with a hint of blueberry but no! It was very blueberry with a subtle herbal back flavor.

This tea is not caffeinated, so lovely for the afternoon or evening! This is very nice because in the morning when I want something other then water I grab caffeinated tea or coffee. Sometimes I have juice throughout the day, but there is something about tea that's so warm and comforting.

It is very sweet, even on it's own. I probably doesn't need sweetener, but I like honey so I added some.

I would say this is a good summer-fall beverage as it is refreshing but also warm and rich.

It's also delicious iced!

Tea Time Ramblings: Baby steps

This weeks Instagram post

This week's ramble
Overcoming things is hard. It looks so big and I find myself wondering how I'll ever do it when I stumble into one (which is quite often).
Recently, I have't been going and trying things that is not part of my day to day life. I stay at home. I go to cafes to blog. I don't get out much and experience much, I have my own safe little bubble and I like to stay there.
However, staying in that bubble always depresses me, and then I have even less motivation to go out and do things.
Fear has been a big component to me. The more I avoid doing something, the scarier it gets to do it.
Knowing this, my mother saw me sinking and brought me to one of my grate loves, and now fears.
The ocean
It was very difficult at first. I could only think of what might go wrong. Being bitten, drowning, or dyeing in general being some of my fears.
But I went in anyway. And guess what?
IT WAS TERRIFYING
I'm not going to deny it. It really was. But you know what? I kept pushing with the help of my greatest support. And pretty soon, terrifying turned to uncomfortable, and that turned to okay. By the end I even found myself having fun. I felt so much more at one with myself and the world around me. It was actually such a relief!
When we left, I still viewed the ocean as scary, but I also thought of it as a friend. And I think after a few more times, I'm feel more okay.

This weeks adventures

I have decided to try drinking some herbal teas. This will be nice in the afternoon when I shouldn't be drinking caffeine. The first one I tried was this True Blueberry tea from this cute little sampler by Celestial Teas. I will have that blogpost up soon!

I tried a new game on my 3DS (this one works on a regular DS as well)! It is called Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy. It is a really cool puzzle game, I haven't finished it yet, but it really makes you think with your common sense!
This game's graphics reminds me so much of studio Ghibli (maker of Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away, Princess Mananoke and many more)
It has that whimsical magical beautiful aspect.

I also visited a yarn shop called Wool Works this week! I have been here before, but it was a very long time ago. It is so cute! They have so many yarns and I wanted to buy well more then my budget would allow. I also took some time and got to sit down and knit with some lovely ladies and it was fun hearing their stories. I'd like to go more regularly as it was a grate motivator to knit when everyone else is knitting too~!

Lesson of the week
You know, with recovery I see a lot of people (including myself) who want a instant fix. Even if it's a more painful fix, like facing your fear and then being perfectly okay with it after that. Grand even.
But I don't thing that's how it works. I think it's a lot of little baby steps. Leaving the ocean still feeling a little afraid is somewhat disappointing, however, I'm pretty content. I look forward to going again and again and again till it's okay again and enjoying the journey as much as I can.
Baby steps.

ClubHouse, My Introduction to this World

Club House is a place for people with mental disabilities to go meet other people, find job opportunities  seek support, create a sense of community, and so much more.

It has been recommended I join a club house! To be honest, I am so exited!

The Clubhouse I visited is suppose to be one of the best around (or so I've been told). I was very anxious about it.
It was a beautiful building on a pretty little hill with lots of flowers all around. I really nice guy was our tour guide and I have to say, I was very impressed! There was an aria dedicated to finding work, help with work, and furthering your education. The cafeteria was beautiful. The front office was neat and welcoming. Upstairs was where I felt at home. It was very artistic, the walls where decorated with art available to sell created by members. I also found out there is a twice a year gallery show of the art! I am so in to that, it sounds like so much fun! They also have a film aria, which I was so exited about! They do a news video twice a week and members collect information, interview, and get to help edit the clubhouse news. I am very ready to jump into that! Though out the club house, there are plenty of opportunities even if you're not into the artsy stuff like me. You can help prepare meals in the caff, you can work in the front office, and lots of other things!

I look forward to making many happy memories there!

Tea Time Ramblings: Uncertainty

This weeks Instagram post

This week's ramble
There are many things in my life hanging in the balance right now. It's hard having so many things up in the air and having the feeling that none of it is in your control. Grate things are on the way, but taking the steps forward into the dark is scary. However, it is important to have faith and keep going. I chose to believe a bright future awaits.

Mum and I went to the store to recycle the cans and bought ice cream with our profits!

Found some old 3DS games when cleaning and it got me inspired to start playing again! I am having so much fun with it. Animal Crossing New Leaf is my favorite, what is yours?

Went to Tower Hill Botanical Garden! It was so beautiful. We walked around and took pictures, then we ate at the little cafe there. It was lovely, a blogpost on that day will be up soon (^_^)

Lesson of the week
Uncertainty is a difficult thing. Not knowing what's next can be very hard. However, you should not let fear stand in your way of taking the next step forward. Stay strong and believe in yourself. Only you know whats ultimately best for you.
